To Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month

CaringOn wants to thank all our Caregiver gift alumni – the caregivers and their patients who have been part of our family and those who support them.

Recharge, Refresh, Renew… doesn’t this sound wonderful? For adults who are caring for someone with a cancer diagnosis, this doesn’t happen nearly enough. There are approximately 15 million people with cancer in the state of MD. For many of these people there is an unpaid, family member or friend who has lovingly taken on the responsibility of primary caregiver. Statistics show that being a primary caregiver can lead to depression, isolation and anxiety. CaringOn would like to give these “silent superstars” the break they deserve.

Nominate a caregiver of a cancer patient who needs some care themselves. Give them a CaringOn gift and show your love for our ‘silent superstars’. Click here to nominate today!

About CaringOn
CaringOn is a Maryland-based 501(C)3 non-profit organization that provides a way for patients with cancer to say “thank you” to their caregivers. It was founded by Judy Goldberg Davanzo and Lee Kappelman to give caregivers an opportunity to “recharge, refresh, and renew” and take a break from their caregiving responsibilities. Patients now have a way to express their gratitude to their caregivers by gifting them time for themselves. This can include anything from an overnight stay in a hotel, a spa day, dinner and a show, or a big game featuring their favorite sports team.
