Non-Profit Focused on Caregivers Announces Unique New Gift Opportunity for the Holiday Season
The purchase of a custom designed butterfly pendant will benefit CaringOn,
a non-profit group that gives gifts to caregivers of advanced cancer patient.
[Towson, MD] December 2, 2014 – Just in time for the holidays, CaringOn announces the release of a unique gift opportunity: the CaringOn gold butterfly pendant. The custom-designed piece makes a one-of-a-kind present for the holidays or any occasion, and also benefits CaringOn, the non-profit organization that provides gifts to caregivers of patients with advanced cancer.
Created by New York jeweler Suzy B (http://www.suzybjewels.com/) the CaringOn pendant is made of gold vermeil embellished by white and purple crystal. The delicate butterfly design is the symbol of the organization. Judy Goldberg Davanzo, the founder of CaringOn, says, The butterfly is our symbol because it represents the transformation that caregivers of advanced cancer patients go through. They change from ordinary parents, spouses, siblings and children into gentle caregivers that somehow find the emotional, physical, and psychological strength to take care of their loved ones. We hope that this pendant will often unsung heroes the recognition and gifts of time they so richly deserve.
CaringOn offers gifts to caregivers solely through the donations of businesses and individuals. Donations can include funds, services, or experiences such as meals at restaurants, tickets to a performance, pampering at a salon, and even gifts of travel. CaringOn also provides the necessary support services (certified nurses and/or childcare) that allow caregivers to enjoy that gift and a brief respite from their roles, all without incurring a financial burden.
The CaringOn pendant can be purchased for $125.00 with a portion [$75.00] of the proceeds benefiting CaringOn. It is available through the CaringOn website: https://caringon.org/. Any purchases of the pendant can be promoted on the #GivingTuesday website: www.givingtuesday.org.
