Expectations, Great?

I haven’t posted in the last months and I really can’t say why. I have much to talk about, just ask anyone. I didn’t want to be cliche, you know what I mean; November- giving thanks, December-holiday cheer, January – resolutions, and now February-love. But the one constant word that continues to pop up for me throughout those months is EXPECTATIONS.

This morning I type from my hospital room where I have been for the last 2 nights due to dehydration

  1. Judy, I wish you were still with us. We were so close as children. Anyway, as I reach middle age now (53) and look back on my youth, I miss your smile and friendship. To me, your presence is as alive today as it was back in the 70’s and 80’s. Life today seems much more difficult for the youth of today, Covid, cancel culture, political narratives, etc. I miss the simple love we all shared as friends growing up. Rest In Peace. I will never forget you. I lost my mother to breast cancer when I was not yet 3. I hope we beat this disease one day.
