Jennifer Ward to Tim Ward

Jennifer Ward is a 38-year-old woman who is completing chemotherapy for metastatic breast cancer and is preparing to undergo surgery in the fall. She is married to Tim and they have two children – a 15-year-old daughter who is blind and a 6-year-old son. Jennifer writes about Tim: “My husband is my caregiver. Since my diagnosis, he has taken care of me and our two children. He taught his own students along with our children when we were forced to stay at home due to Covid-19. He has cooked and cleaned, taken me to treatments and appointments. He is the most selfless person I know and has been there for me every step of the way, not complaining and not asking for help. He is my hero.” CaringOn and Jennifer surprised Tim with a gift of care – a hat and jersey from Manchester United (his favorite team) and dinner at their favorite restaurant.
