From Mark McKenzie to Laura McKenzie

Sina Cook (a CaringOn alumni) helped Mark McKenzie give a gift to his wife, Laura, in consideration of her care after he was shot in the chest by two teenage boys in the backyard of his Baltimore County home in September 2024.  Mark endured four surgeries and more than 6 weeks in the hospital with Laura at his side taking care of him and their three children.  CaringOn is happy to help Mark show his gratitude to Laura by giving her a break from caregiver responsibilities. Laura will enjoy an overnight stay at a Hyatt Hotel and a day of shopping at the King of Prussia Mall.
