Caregiver Gift Update: The Thomas Family

In the summer of 2018, CaringOn, along with Boys Latin School (where Derrick was a teacher), presented a gift to Sadra and Derrick Thomas for their tireless support of their son Mattheu during his treatments for cancer. Sadly, Derrick and Sadra Thomas were not able to enjoy their CaringOn gift because their son, Mattheu, a senior at the school, died of cancer.

CaringOn was able to help them mark the one year anniversary of their son’s death with a trip to Sea World in Orlando to ease their pain and do something wonderful for themselves to remember Mattheu. Taking care of caregivers is our mission.
